$100/year

The annual plan works out to about $8.34 a month, billed once a year — $12/mo if you pay monthly

Save $44/yr on annual — 31% off

At $8.34 a month, it costs less than most single professional lawn treatments.

Everything in Stay Ahead, tuned: a PGR interval you set yourself — by an exact GDD target or derived from your height of cut — advanced GDD models, and room for up to 10 yards.

  • ✓Unlimited care event logging
  • ✓Text chat with the Yard Assistant
  • ✓Image diagnosis (upload a photo for AI analysis)
  • ✓Custom PGR Target

600 credits every month — roughly 600 questions or 150 photo diagnoses, with heavier plans and stronger models costing more per message.

Costs more than Stay Ahead because it opens the controls the standard model keeps fixed: your own PGR interval, set by height of cut or an exact GDD target. It also carries 10 yards instead of 2 and 600 AI credits instead of 150, for a second home, a rental, or a family member's yard you look after too.

Plus and Pro cost more than the cheapest lawn apps, though every YardLedger plan — including the free one — gets what they don't: a full web app and an agentic, history-aware AI assistant.

Downgrading loses nothing you have saved: your history and your settings are kept, and some paid features keep working on what you already set up. What stops, and what carries on, is in the FAQ below.

Pricing questions

Do I need a credit card to start?

You don't need a credit card to start YardLedger: the free plan needs no card, and it isn't a trial that expires — you can log unlimited care events and keep your full schedule on it indefinitely.

What happens if I hit a limit?

Hitting a plan limit touches or deletes nothing you've already saved. You'll be told which cap you've reached — properties, photos, or Yard Assistant credits — and you can upgrade, or carry on within the plan you have.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

When you downgrade, your history stays, and so do your settings — they're kept rather than discarded, so they resume if you upgrade again. Paid features stop accepting new configuration, though some keep working on what you've already set up: your zone watering config still drives the engine, and existing infrastructure map items stay viewable and editable on mobile.

Can I cancel any time?

You can cancel a paid YardLedger plan any time, and you keep paid access through the end of the period you've already paid for. You can also delete your account whenever you like: your yard data is removed from our systems immediately, with a few documented exceptions — encrypted backups rotate out within 90 days, your payment processor keeps transaction records it's required to keep, and support conversations are removed on request.

What actually makes Plus worth it?

Plus is worth it for the premium Care Programs, and the day-to-day alerts and timing tools around them. The free plan already gives you the personalized schedule, the guided winterization, spring-startup and leveling programs, and the seasonal safety alerts — frost, winterize-now, spring startup, and the spring and fall pre-emergent windows, the ones that protect pipes and catch a freeze. Plus adds four programs: crabgrass pre-emergent and PGR on timing we track for you (your soil temperature and accumulated growing degree days respectively), grub prevention, and fall pre-emergent for winter weeds. Around them come the daily alerts — when to water, when to skip because rain is coming, when to check wind and rain before an application — calendar sync into the calendar you already read, and sprinkler calibration and GDD tracking that tune the schedule to how your yard really behaves.

What's a Care Program?

A Care Program is a named routine you switch on for a yard — crabgrass prevention, fall pre-emergent, grub prevention, PGR, winterization, spring irrigation startup, or leveling. Most add their own steps to that yard's plan with the timing already worked out. Crabgrass prevention works the other way round: your plan already carries the pre-emergent task, so switching the program on picks that task up and starts watching your soil temperature, and you get a reminder when the window really opens rather than going by the date alone — the same accrual engine that times PGR reapplication, running a different model. You complete and log the steps like any other task, and turning the program off clears the planned tasks you never touched, overdue ones included, along with the program's pending timing rows — its projected dates and reminders go even if you edited them, because they are cleared with the timing model. Everything you completed stays. Three of the seven are free on every plan.
